Trattoria Da Fagiolino in Cutigliano is a family-run restaurant and inn
where local culinary tradition
and hospitality
have been passed down through generations. In his role as restaurateur, Alvaro was assisted by his wife Pierina, a memorable cook from Bologna. Today, the trattoria is managed by the third generation of the same family, namely Luigi, son of Alvaro and Pierina, supported in his work by his wife Paola and their daughters Stella and Diletta.
Trattoria Da Fagiolino is located in Cutigliano, in the province of Pistoia. Situated 700 metres above sea level, the village is a medieval settlement
that historically served as the residence of the Palazzo dei Capitani di Montagna under the Medici family, a building currently housing the offices of the Cutigliano municipality. The village lies in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and is a destination for both summer tourism, due to its beautiful landscapes, and winter tourism, owing to its proximity to the ski slopes of Abetone and Doganaccia.
